During our week long stay we barely touch all that the terrain had to offer.
Make sure you stretch and rest your legs or the powder will wreck you like our buddy in the video at the end.
THERE ARE EIGHT DIFFERENT RESORTS IN THE “THREE VALLEYS.”
Val Thorens, Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville, La Tania, Orelle, and Brides les Bains.
We stayed in Meribel and skied around those first three resorts. If you’re looking for a party, I learned that it is a British tradition to have a Winter “holiday” in Meribel. They come for the posh parties at La folie deuce, which is a club halfway down the Courchevel slopes. If you are looking for more of a chill vibe, my friends and I made it a tradition to have our apres beers at “La Rond Point,” which has live music almost everyday. All in all, this destination has skiing appropriate for all levels. We found that even though there was a heavy family population, the vast terrain offered plenty of challenging rides.
